The Sheriff’s Office is currently at 150 No. Hamilton St., in Poughkeepsie, however, it’s scheduled to be moved to 108 Parker Ave., during the third week of February.

Due to the complexity of the move and the high volume of property needing to be transferred in order to continue efficient public service, the following divisions will be closed to the public from Feb. 14 to March 1:

  • Civil Division
  • Records Division
  • Pistol Permits Division

During the closure Orders of Protection, needing service should be brought to the front lobby of 108 Parker Ave., and anyone having business with the above divisions is urged to visit the Sheriff’s Office prior to Feb. 14.

All three divisions above will reopen to the public on Monday, March 4, and all other services provided by the Sheriff’s Office will be unaffected by the move and will operate as normal during the transition.
